Historically, it never really mattered to me what type of bed I had. It’s there…you sleep on it. Simple as that.
But, while patterns can run their course for many years, ultimately we’re each destined to change – to have new experiences and take on new viewpoints.
That’s the beauty of life. Otherwise we’d never find our way.
After the bed was delivered, I jumped on it a couple of times. I absolutely loved it!.
Ok, now it was time to go out and buy some artwork.
I’d NEVER gone out on a mission to buy artwork for my home before. In fact, In the entire course of my life, I can probably count the number of pictures I’ve put up both at home and at work on ONE HAND!
Well, I came home that evening with two strikingly colorful pieces – one modern and the other abstract.
Why is this important to your own success? Well, each of us has a ‘Seat of Power’ we operate from. It’s a place we return to again and again for strength, confidence and of course…POWER!
This is why teams so often concern themselves with home court or home field advantage. They draw added vitality from their seat of power and their built in support system
(family, fans etc).
I really look forward to coming home and not having to defend a position or work anything out.
But what happens when your seat of power is barren, broken or dysfunctional?
Where do you go to revitalize, refocus and reignite your personal power?
It’s a terrible thing to be out in the world getting bumps and bruises, having experiences, and then you return home to an unsupportive partner or family waiting to wear you down even further. It’s SO important that your seat of power be a place or environment of safety and trust…a place you can kick back and strengthen yourself.
Can you strengthen and deepen your relationships with the people associated with your seat of power? Can you get them to support your vision more?
This is a question you must ask yourself and the answer has to be a resounding YES.
If it isn’t, then you have important work to do NOW…not later.
Napoleon Hill, responsible for the creation of so many millionaires, passionately emphasized the need to have complete harmony in your mastermind group. He said that you can’t have any kind of success if there is continuing disharmony within your core.
It has to be cut out like a malignant tumor or it will continue to rot away at what you’re creating.
I know this to be true – so much so that several years ago I dissolved my business partnership with my fiance and left the company we’d created together. It was not an easy decision, nor was it easy to disentangle all of the financial weaving we’d done up to that point.

Would You Rather Be Right or Be Rich?
I have a question to ask you that could very well change how you choose to do things from now on.
In my experience, more people fall short of their potential because of their answer to this question than to most other questions you can think of asking.
Ok, so my question simply is this:
“Would you rather be RIGHT…or be RICH!”
Most people won’t even hesitate before they say, “to be rich.”
The few that say , “to be right” are probably thinking they wouldn’t trade their integrity for cash.
Good for you!
That’s not what we’re talking about here, though.
What I’m REALLY asking you is: why do you care so much about what others think that you’re willing to let it keep you from your own success?
Years ago, before I even had decided to create my own home based business, I was working for a multi-millionaire and he’d often let me email his subscriber list.
I always proofread and double-checked the email before sending it out. Well, one day, I sent out an email that had a mistake in it.
Less than an hour later, a subscriber wrote in and said, “that was terrible…you should fire whoever was in charge of proofreading
your email.”
I chuckled at first when I read it, but then my laughter disappeared.
“How dare this man suggest such a thing. What if I had a different boss and I DID get fired because of his comment? And what if I had a wife and children to feed?”
I know of a marketer that purposefully puts typos and broken grammar in his newsletters and he’s making a ton of money helping people succeed.
I know multi-millionaires that go to seminars in shorts and when they comb their hair it’s a big deal.
I bet that Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey and Michael Bloomberg are all more concerned with getting things done than they are with social consensus.
Me? I’m going with what THEY say and do.
I ask you “Would you rather be RIGHT…or be RICH” because a lot of times we’re so afraid of looking foolish that we don’t “go for the gold.”
One of the challenges people face when building an online business is how they deal with newsletter unsubscribes.
Your first few unsubscribes feel like daggers in your gut.
What did I do wrong? Why do they hate me? I must suck!
No, you sent out an email and some of your list unsubscribed.
Get over yourself. It’s a part of life – not everyone is going to like you and not everyone is going to appreciate your message.
The most important takeaway I’d like you to get from what I’m saying is about “being apologetic”.
Many of us (myself included), disguise being apologetic through the facade of politeness.
Stop being apologetic and start asserting your WILL in your life. Let yourself be KNOWN.

Subconscious Programming: Keys to Creating Healthy Relationships
Standing at one corner of the kitchen, I poured Rague sauce over the raviolis and thought excitedly about what I’d write in the article I was about to create for you.
‘The Subconscious Mind and It’s Keys to Creating Healthy Relationships’
That sounds interesting!
I looked down at the almost empty jar of sauce while my mind worked on the title of the article.
“It’s going to be close…doesn’t look like there’s enough sauce to cover these raviolis.”
I had the jar turned upside down and I was slapping the bottom to get every drop to jump out onto my dish of food.
What came next was NOT a conscious decision.
Suddenly, I started singing out loud..”We Have Enough” while I tapped the bottom of the jar like a mini drum.
“We Have Enough!” – mixed in was even some “Na, na, na NA!”
There is a subconscious part of you that stores the answers to all of your questions. And it doesn’t store only information…it contains bottomless wisdom too.
Like the rhythm that sometimes rises to the surface from deep inside of you, insight into your relationships can also appear when you need it.
It’s an invaluable storehouse of pertinent information that can help you not only find fulfilling relationships, but it can also help you to sidestep potentially harmful ones.
Take when I was in my mid-twenties for example. At one point, I’d been spending a lot of time with a woman named Whitney. We enjoyed each other’s company but I didn’t know if I wanted it to turn into a relationship. I had a busy schedule so I hadn’t seen her for a couple of days. Wondering whether it would be good or not to pursue a relationship with Whitney, I went to sleep and dreamt. In the dream, she was standing at the top of a building looking for me. She was looking a little too intensely though – needy and clingy.
This wasn’t the kind of relationship I was looking for – so with this new information, I chose not to take it any further.
The subconscious mind – I didn’t reprogram it here. Instead, I let the information come through to my conscious mind and then I made a choice – with eyes wide open.
I’ve accessed the vast wisdom of the subsconcious mind to make better decisions in many of the relationships I’ve been in. And it’s an ability we all have. What separates those who have a lot of experiences in this area of personal development versus those who do not?
Practice!

A long-time friend of mine called me mid-morning today, expecting to leave a message on my voicemail.
He was totally surprised to hear me answer the phone.
“Hey young man, why aren’t you at work? Are you playing hookie today?”

All I know is this:

Law of Attraction Secret #2

I have good news and bad news. So which do you want first: The good news…or the bad news?

I’d say probably 7 out of 10 times I’d want the good news first. Our daughter wants the good news first 10 out of 10 times. Some people want the bad news first every time.
Today’s law of attraction news is directly related to ‘Law of Attraction Secret #2.’ Now, the good news is that you are constantly creating and perpetuating the ‘reality’ you experience. The bad news is that YOU ARE CONSTANTLY CREATING AND PERPETUATING the reality you experience!
Let me explain.
You see, we all have self-fulfilling prophecies working in our lives. The issue here is that we usually don’t consciously recognize what our prophecies are – because they’re built into our belief systems and are often subconscious.
For example, say you try something new even though you ‘know’ it isn’t going to work out for you. There’s that part of you that knows you have to change and do new things and in new ways. And yet, you ‘know’ from past experience that things always turn out the same way (badly).
Sure enough, you try it, it doesn’t work, and you throw your hands in the air and say, “See! I told you so!”
So true.
But why is it true? This leads us to today’s ‘Law of Attraction Secret’ -
“What you secretly expect determines what you ultimately get.”
It’s time to DROP what you know about life and ALLOW life to show you MORE. Everything you ‘know’ about life has brought you to where you are right now (which was great for the definition of you that you’re now about to outgrow) and what you know is not enough to allow for greater things to enter into your awareness and into your reality.
Make yourself an empty vessel for the universe to show you how wonderful your life can truly be.
Not long ago, I noticed every time I had a financial breakthrough it would usually be followed up with or accompanied by some sort of financial mishap or unexpected expense.
What I secretly expected was to make $500 and then have to pay someone $300 somewhere, somehow (just to give you an example).
Now, it wasn’t the dollar amounts I expected. I want you to FEEL the vibration of someone who keeps making a little more than they are spending.
For some people, practicing the above is actually really going to improve your situation. Perfect…if it feels right, then go for it.
HOWEVER…for me, this is the SLOW path to success and financial freedom.
So I’ve been practicing ‘expecting’ more money inflow and less money outflow.
Let’s do an exercise now…
Law of Attraction Exercise
Take a sheet of paper and write at the top, ‘My Secret Expectations.’
Now list as many as you can see.
What do you expect to happen in your finances? Do you expect to always ‘net out’ at breakeven the end of each month? Do you get shortchanged at the store or do you later notice the cashier gave you too much change back?
What do you secretly expect in your relationships? Do you expect people to take advantage of your kindness? To eventually leave you or treat you a certain way?
How about career? Do you expect someone else to always get the promotion because they have more experience?
Once you’ve identified your secret expectations, you can start working on reprogramming your mind to expect what you REALLY WANT!
So remember:
“What you secretly expect determines what you ultimately get.”
Empty out your old expectations and practice expecting amazing things to happen in your life…and they will!

3 Steps to Creating Limitless Wealth and Success
Do you want to make money online or simply in addition to your present income?
To reach out into the formless energy and attract the gold of the universe and differentiate it into form whenever you desire, do the following:
Step 1: Create Limitless Vision
Use your intuition to create a limitless vision of what you want. The word “intuition,” when you translate it into Latin, actually means “in to you.” To me, what that means is when you go “in to you,” you can start creating a limitless vision of what you want. To go “in to you,” or use your intuition, you have to create a quiet space. Depending on what our lives are like, there’s a lot of busy, noisy space, so even if you take 10 or 20 minutes at the beginning or end of your day to have this quiet space, you can go “in to you” and work on your vision. This what all successful people do. Some of them may call it metaphysical. A lot of them just call it “getting it done.”
Step 2: Increase Your Vibration
Use your inspiration to increase your vibration and begin relating with the unseen part of what you want. If you just focus on this one sentence…if you keep asking yourself “What does this mean,” and you sincerely want to know, you’ll find yourself having some powerful insights.
Throughout our lives, our vibration changes. Everything has a vibration, and when you start consciously working to increase it, then you can start matching your reality with what your goals are. Sometimes we have goals, but our vibration doesn’t match what the outer reality would look like, therefore, we can’t have it.
If you can’t match your vibration to the thing you want, there’s no resonance so it can’t stay in your life. One of the ways we do to raise our vibration is by creating foundation, another way is by learning to recognize opportunity. It’s doing the things in your life that you know are the right things, the basics, that will help to “clean up your act,” so to speak.
It will help you to refine and polish yourself more and help increase your vibration. There are more direct ways. Some people work with sound since vibration has to do with sound. You can work with different sounds and that’s another way you can manipulate your vibration.
Step 3: Hold the Vision, Maintain the Vibration
Use your Intellect to hold fast to this vision and inspiration. Keep your mind and attention focused on the vision. In baseball, they say to keep your eye on the ball. It’s the same principle—keep your attention and focus on the vision. That’s an exercise you’ll have to do again and again because there will be times when you’ll say, “What was I just doing? Why was I doing it? Why am I getting up every day?”
We have to go back to what our vision is. That’s why it’s so important to get your vision down on paper and put out a strategy. If you’re new at strategy, then just some basics like “I want to get this done,” and what your goal is so you can keep referring back to it as your map or blueprint so you don’t get lost in your own universe.

Abundance is a Vibration
Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I was surrounded by plenty of characters I called “my friends”. Many of them were being raised by parents that had limited consciousness and didn’t teach their children how to grow up in a way that they’d make something of their lives.
I was always in trouble at school during my youth. So much so, that the assistant principle sat me down one day during lunch time (I was 8 years old), and told me I was dangerously close to having to repeat third grade. This was in spite of the fact that I had excellent grades! I didn’t know if his threat was real or a bluff so I took it as real and started to change my ways.
I also remember at least a half dozen different times during my youth where my mother looked me square in the eyes and asked me, “Are you going to be a leader or a follower?” She was concerned because she knew my path would soon be decided and it was a coin toss which direction I’d end up headed in.
At age 12, my mother had me take a special entrance exam to get into Mark Twain Junior High School. I passed the exam and went to Mark Twain, leaving my “friends” behind. They couldn’t pass it because their skills and talents were different. They grew up and joined gangs, specializing in dealing drugs and stealing cars. I went on to begin creating a life of service.
Why do I tell you this?
Because a good majority of people in the world today are happy living out the rest of their days here on earth doing what everyone else does and complaining about how they never experience any real success in their lives. They play the role of victim, blaming politics, the economy, family, God…anything they can think of as long as they don’t have to take responsibility for their lives.
These are the same people that pay for seminars and don’t go. These are the same people that say they’ll do anything to succeed but, when ‘push comes to shove’, they retreat back to their safe, predictable lives and convince themselves that they are cont ented.
You’d do well to take honest inventory of yourself: you may be one of these people at times too! Instead of going to the source of the abundance of supply and creating something for themselves from out the formless energy, the majority of people spend their time running after the few who have related with abundance and who have money, and spend their time trying to ‘get something for nothing.’ Sure you can get a free ride in life. And more likely than not, those people who have created nothing for themselves end up getting just that: a free ride. But it’s a free ride to nowhere!
Everywhere around you is “vacant space”: a live, vital, seething mass of energy, far more vital and powerful than anything anyone has yet harnessed in material form, and you can go and draw from it an eternal abundance of everything you want.
Pretty cool right?
This vital substance is invisible to the physical sight, and yet it still exists. Relate with it constantly and persistently in your consciousness in accordance with the image you have built and held in your imagination. This sets up a strong, powerful vibration with your thoughts, and under the Law of Harmonious Attraction, the atoms of this invisible substance you relate with in your thought world will begin to materialize in form around you.
This vital substance may be differentiated into countless material things; the differentiation caused by the difference in the rate at which the atoms, composing the material form, vibrate.
Do you get what I’m saying here? The objects and circumstances that are materialized in your life have a particular vibration.
