Truth reveals itself in a multitude of ways. There are as many ways as there are people.

Truth can even attach itself to the end of a dollar bill. It doesn’t discriminate.

In only twenty-five days, I had just made what would have amounted to half of my entire annual salary back when I worked for other people.

And there were still 5 more days left in the month!

Great stuff. Follow me here, though…because I’m about to take you on a quick turn around a corner and I don’t want you to go flying out the passenger seat door!

Now, one thing you want to do when things are “rolling” and you have momentum is this: keep pressing forward.

For years I’ve moved amongst and shared the company of multi-millionaires. This idea of pressing forward is the success principle they have taught me and it obviously works because the results speak for themselves.

It’s one of the reasons why my income flowed so quickly those 25 days.

So I was ready to do that…to keep pressing forward. I said to myself, “let’s shatter the company’s best month record.”

It was definitely within reach.

That is, until something unexpected happened.

Having practiced “listening inwardly” for many years, I’m pretty good at knowing when there is a green “go ahead” light and when there’s a red “stop right there” light.

I was getting a “stop right there” signal.

So I did…and I disappeared.

“Keith, you had momentum and you just ‘disappeared?’ What gives?”

Well, here’s the thing: I’ve learned how to “synchronize” or align myself with life.

Now, think for a moment about what I just said. If you’re learning how to align with life, then you must have had some practice being OUT of alignment with life!

I definitely have…we all have. You can’t get “out of life” – but you can get out of harmony with life.

And I’ve learned over the past 19 years that it’s a much smoother ride if I make it a point to stay IN harmony with life instead of opposing it.

IN harmony doesn’t imply that you have to accept and keep everything that comes your way. Many people are spiritually young and still learning about how natural laws operate in their daily lives. By the way, that’s code for, “some people will use you as a doormat and walk all over you if you let them.”

IN harmony isn’t about that. It’s about discerning which attitudes, choices and experiences will foster or perpetuate your harmonic relationship with life itself.

So while I strive to create wealth for myself and my future family, I am also ready to “shift” my focus whenever that becomes what I need to do to stay synchronized with life and connected to my real self.

I’ve disappeared for about a week now.

I’m still teaching my Wealth Mastery students. I’ve hibernated for days though, watching an 18-video training series and doing some very targeted research on the internet.

I immersed myself in my moment – a moment that has stretched out from one day to the next, and to the next.

Very little money has come in during this time because I haven’t been marketing my business.

It’s ok, though – I am exactly where I needed to be…doing exactly what I need to be doing.

You see, there is ALWAYS going to be a next dollar to be made, another latest movie to see and another immediate crisis or fire to put out.

However, high above the noise, in the quiet abode of your own real self, is the space where important “shifts” and recognitions occur.

It is within this ‘time out’, or getting temporarily off your own wheel, that your success process speeds up.

This sounds exciting but is it real? Or am I simply being poetic?

It’s real.

In fact, while I was researching, I received an email from someone teaching the same information I was looking for!

Coincidence…or Synchronicity?

Then I went and researched that person’s product and ended up finding a series of 7 video lessons discussing the very same observations I had scratched into my “Strategic Notebook” only hours earlier while thinking about how best to shape my business model.

Exciting? Yes! New to me? No…this is how I live my life. Good things flow to me (wealth, opportunity, relationships) simply because I am committed to the harmony of what I can become – which is really what I have always been and I am now simply accepting…claiming as true.

If you’re reading this and wondering, “Hey, how come I don’t have that experience?” try instead asking yourself, “Hey, how DO I have that kind of experience already?” The more you look for it (instead of chasing it), the more you will see it.

You are the commander of your ship.

So command it!

Well, looks like it’s time to disappear again. By the way, the idea isn’t to become a hermit and stop engaging in life.

You take time off from your ‘wheel,’ enter the place inside yourself where there is ‘no time’, gain in wisdom, awareness and understanding, then APPLY your new perspective within the physical world.

“Thousands are making over $100k each year working only 5-10 hours a week.”

WHAT!! I ripped open the envelope, hoping to find a note saying something like, “Do not open until April 1st” because this is an April Fools joke!

Nope. Nothing like that – just the full sales letter inside.

I then skimmed through it and read about collecting on judgments, debts and liens. So the idea is you collect a debt on someone’s behalf and then split the money with them. As an example, you might send out a letter to the person owing the debt, collect $8,000 and keep half of it for yourself – all for maybe an hour’s work!

Yeah right.

Let me get this straight: people who owe money and haven’t responded to incessant phone calls, letters and threats of litigation, and who are probably “broker than broke” will just magically mail you thousands of dollars.

Give me a break.

The scary part is that this mail piece was very well-written. I was about to leave my own 6-figure business to do this myself! (joke).

It is scary because they are writing “what you want to hear” without regard for what is really true. Right? I mean, don’t we all dream of the opportunity that takes only 5 minutes or 5 hours of our time and pays us the big bucks?

Well, I’m here to tell you that all legal business opportunities require time, commitment, resources (money or otherwise) and a ‘fruition period.’

Some produce better and quicker results than others. And it is possible to work very little on your business and generate profits. Just understand that if YOU are not maintaining your business, then someone else MUST be…because someone has to, right? If you have key people in place to handle the various parts of your business, then you can PAY them and go PLAY golf. The sooner we can be honest with ourselves about this, the sooner we can get STARTED creating a real, profitable business.

If 8 out of 10 businesses are struggling during today’s ‘sinking economy’, then your job just got easier because now you only have to study two business models…not the other eight! Please do me a favor, though: don’t listen to the people that promise you the moon without you having to learn how to throw a lasso. They are probably out to rip you off of your hard-earned money.

I hurried to get part of the magazine layout printed and over to my boss so she could give her ‘stamp of approval’ before the messenger came to pick up the disks and bring them to the printing plant in Vermont.

That was in 2005. Back then, my home between 10 and 6pm was a small cubicle. No windows, no door…

Just a small cubicle.

My boss didn’t have a door either but she DID have a window where sunshine flooded in each day.

Micheline didn’t want to be there either. But the rent was due on the 1st for her too, just like everyone else. We were both actually grateful for our jobs because the department was downsizing and people were “disappearing” left and right.

Sound familiar?

Well, today it’s all a fading dream to me.

Today I press a button and cash rushes toward me, people get the tools they need to improve their lives, and good things happen for everyone.

Today I have my own successful business. I am the ‘Commander of my Ship’. When I get on the phone with a subscriber or a customer, I often hear, “Wow, I can’t believe it’s really you!” or “I was just listening to one of your CDs!”

But it wasn’t that way at the very beginning. When I first started out, I had a website that just sat there. No, worse. Really: it was the ugliest thing you’d ever seen!

I’m talking about…

Hairballs!

He let’s them shoot out of his mouth like a canon and sends lunch along with it. And not just once, either: usually 3 times in a matter of minutes. If I race toward him fast enough, sometimes I can intercept before too much damage is done. Ultimately, though, my livingroom rug is multicolored and doomed.

Ugghhh!

Someone recently told me there’s a product that does miracles for saving your rug so I figured now was as good a time as ever to go find one of them and try it out.

What I’m about to share with you is a case study of how the internet creates sales (at least one of the ways). And the fun part?

I AM the case study!

Ok so first we go to my friend who knows more than anyone else I’ve ever met (let alone “you know who” upstairs). I am always amazed at what an unceasing expert my friend is. Who am I talking about?

Google!

So let’s go to www.Google.com and do a search for the magic product that hopefully will save my rug. I typed in the words: cats carpet cleaning and as you see below, a number of websites related to those keyword terms showed up.

Scanning the descriptions, I’m thinking ‘www.katpuke.com‘ is a good one. It’s a review site and I’m looking for someone who has had a similar problem as my own that already found a solution for it. So I click on the link and end up at the site which starts out with the following information:

“…the best puke spot remedy ever!” That’s EXACTLY what I’m looking for (at least based on the description). Going back to www.Google.com, I now do a search for “spot shot”. I’m searching for it in quotation marks too because I specifically want to find where to go to buy a can of “Spot Shot” stain removal – because of this woman’s positive review of the product. Now, if she had a way of buying it from her directly, maybe I would have just clicked and purchased it directly through her. And if she had used a “Spot Shot” affiliate link, she would have made a commission on the sale too.

But there wasn’t a way to purchase through her and there wasn’t an affiliate link. And really I want this miraculous stain remover immediately (the need for instant gratification sends me looking for a place to buy OFFLINE.)

Interestingly, the first few websites that mention “Spot Shot” also are not selling the product. Finally I see Walgreens IS selling it.

Great! Now I just have to go to their site and find out where the nearest Walgreens store is.

I locate it but I’m better at finding things on the internet than I am finding my way down my own street so I’m going to need some help here! Chances are you don’t live in Gainesville, Georgia so I’m NOT going to try calling YOU : )
Instead, I’m going to my good friends “Mapquest“ for directions!!!

12 minutes later, I’m standing in the cleaning supplies aisle at Walgreens and grabbing a can of “Spot Shot” to take over to the checkout line.

You know what? On second thought, let me get TWO cans so I don’t have to come back : ) [They were on sale 2-for-1 so that was an easy call to make.]

I spent $7 on the two cans and another $2 on a dish I saw on the way to the register.

So that’s 3 items I bought for just under $10.

Guess how much money Walgreens spent to get me as a customer?

Nothing.

Sure they do advertising for brand recognition but for my particular purchase, all they had to do was get their website in front of me when I was looking for a carpet cleaner to battle my livingroom-wrecking cat.

How would you like someone to walk up to you today and say, “hi, you don’t know me and we haven’t had any communications before directly but I just want to hand you some money.

What if hundreds or thousands of people came to you and handed you money? Things can get exciting pretty quickly.

Now I didn’t look to see how many times people are searching for “Spot Shot” online each day, and that does matter. Maybe only 3 people were searching for it the same time I was. I don’t know.

The point is: money is money and I just dropped some on Walgreens for making sure they were in the right place at the right time.

Curious as to what happened when I got home and tried the stuff?

THE RESULTS ARE IN

Well of course I was too so I put the can to work right away. Here are the results of spraying “Spot Shot” on some tough “surprises” that weren’t exactly recent mishaps either:

Mind you, I didn’t even let the rug dry before snapping the “after” photo and I only applied it once (for tough stains you’re advised to apply it two or three times):

Pretty darn good! In fact, it worked almost like magic. I thought I’d have to wipe the red stains off but they just “disappear”! Somehow it destroys the stain and still leave the original rug color in tact (for beige rugs, I didn’t test it on any dark colored rugs).

So there you have it: a case study of ME looking online for a solution and then pulling out my credit card to pay for it…in this case: offline. I hope you enjoyed this presentation. There are a lot of directions we could take this conversation in if we were to continue it. The main one though is this: how would YOU like to get in front of prospects with problems and are willing to pay money to solve? Well I have a funny story to tell you which ties in to that.

Late last night, I called my friend Ed Zimbardi (The Closing Coach) on his cell to discuss a project we’re working on. He’d had a full day (it WAS 1 am) so he said, “Keith, let’s do it in the morning. Why don’t you call it a
night and rest up.”

I know I should have taken his advice because I’m dog tired today but here’s what happened: I was so fired up about what is in store for my business and for my clients in 2009 that instead I did some strategic research on what it takes to build a 100 million dollar company.

You see, each level higher requires a new mindset…a new way of approaching your life and your business.

It requires a NEW YOU.

People wonder why some things that worked so well for them suddenly just STOP. It’s because you’re ready to take the conversation UP a notch. And you don’t have to be living a perfect life to be ready to go to the next level. In fact, everything around you could actually be extra chaotic BECAUSE you are approaching the next level. When time and timing match up, watch out.

Here are examples of what I mean: I was an eBay Powerseller back in 2004. It didn’t happen overnight but it did happen pretty quickly. Through my time energy and attention (and inner guidance), I discovered a way to pull money out of eBay without even a product!

Imagine that: no website, no list, no product – and I was making $2,000 a month extra income after coming home from a job! (yes, I did have a full-time job back then).

You see, life is difficult and a mystery only to the extent that you cannot see the many opportunities that surround you every day.

And I’m telling you – there are MANY!

A trained set of eyes can see things most others can’t – even if it’s right under their noses!

So I pulled cash out of my eBay cash machine while I sharpened my marketing skills for who I was later to become. Remember: each level higher requires a new YOU. This went on until one day the strangest thing happened:

I didn’t know how to sell! You probably think I’m pulling your leg here but I’m not. It was like the lightbulb went OUT and what had worked for many months suddenly didn’t anymore. It was like being in a Bacardi Mojito commercial. Everything just STOPPED.

Soon after, I took my cue and left eBay for the next leg of my journey: creating my own product and selling it on my very own website.

Same thing happened again recently. I’d been hosting quite a few teleseminars and beaome somewhat of an expert at it. It’s a great way to establish yourself as an authority and let people get to know you more personally (instead of only by email or a webpage). But today I realized I’ve only done a couple of teleseminars in the past four months.

Wow.

Why the long teleseminar drought? Because I’d been growing myself in other key areas of my business. I’d been preparing to raise myself to the next level of success. I forged strong business partnerships with 6 key people. And I don’t mean we exchanged cards. We’re CREATING and impacting peoples lives in these partnerships.

So, anyway, back to my funny story…

Late last night I was reading up on how $100 million companies handle their day to day business and taking notes on how I could do similar.

Listen: don’t just take notes…take ACTION notes. Successful people are relentlessly taking action and moving forward.

Get ready because here’s the funny part (funny to you at least): I woke up this morning to the sound of my front doorbell. Looking out the window, I saw no one.

Excited to be awake and alive, living the life I want to be, I went to wash up and get ready to attack the day.

As I turned the faucet handles, what I saw was like from a dream:

There was no water! Nothing..nada!

I raced to the door to find out more about my ‘mystery caller’ and saw a note on it:

“We’ve turned off your water for nonpayment.”

Wow. Well good morning to you too!

I threw on my jacket and drove to Town Hall (crazy hair and unshaven) and I straightened it out.

On the way, ironically, I ran into the guy who’d just turned off my water. I rolled down the window and told him it was a crummy thing he’d done (in my opinion anyway).

You know what he said to that?

“Which one are you? I’ve done at least 20 of them already.”

My jaw dropped.

How many houses were going to have their water turned off today alone? 30? 40?

I live northeast of Atlanta where there are $2-4 million homes just down the road. Having recently moved to the area from New York, I simply screwed up and forgot that the water and heat bills for my house are separate. All my other bills are set to automatic payment so I can focus on my business and helping clients instead of doing “busy work”.

But what about the 30 or 40 people that will have no water today? They are the reason why I created the ‘Reality Crusher System’. Because we can’t just inch our way ahead in life..life is too short for that.

We’ve got to absolutely CRUSH old ways of living and doing things. Change your reality in such a powerful, positive way that there is just NO WAY you’ll go back to getting mediocre results again.

During the long trip back to my temporary home, I had time for reflection…plenty of time.

Perhaps it would take being in a plane 35,000 feet above the ocean, jetisoning nearly 600 miles per hour, for me to sit still and deeply reflect?

Reading this, you may have children needing baths or dinner, the 6 o’clock news permeating the room, or the tick-tock of a clock pressing you toward your 9-5 job.

For me, I had nothing but a seat, a window and duration.

What a gift sometimes it is to be trapped in a world that wants to speak to you about the secrets of your life.

By the time my 3rd plane had landed me back in Atlanta, Africa had begun to feel like a surreal dream.

But then, aren’t all of our moments that way?

When a battle wages, there are only two possible outcomes in the end: 1) “Surrendering to the enemy” or 2) “Conquering your destiny.”

The greatest changes in my life never did come squarely of my own efforts. But to be fair, the changes wouldn’t have come in the absence of those same efforts either. GUARD YOUR TONGUE – SNAKES MAY FLY OUT! I was in a supermarket while in South Africa, looking for crackers, when life brought me food for thought. A woman with proper posture was beside a tall thin boy: her son. I watched as he broke out into small dance moves, sliding his feet, making his body move to simulate the flowing nature that underlies all things.

“Cut that OUT!” growled the mother. She added a few more choice words I couldn’t make out. Probably something about how he couldn’t “BE” that way here in this place and this time.

I was horrified.

Why? Because she is restricting his attention freedom. She is subverting his desire to become all that he has always been.

There is a place where discipline and ‘freedom of becoming’ meet. I don’t think this mother and son have found it.

Later on, we grow up and, watching others dance, wishing we could too. If only we remembered that we COULD dance – that ordinary trips to the supermarket are “Battlegrounds for the Self” that can turn us into the “walking wounded.”

How many women have stories like, “I love him, but he becomes two different people. Sometimes he’s so wonderful and other times he’s unbearable.”

How many years of your life have you hoped for only the Light to come forward from your partner? That they love and respect you rather than do and say some of the things they choose?

We live among the “walking wounded” and a whole lot of healing needs to happen before we regain our attention freedom.

Oh but this article isn’t about, “poor you or me.”

The War of ‘Dual-ity’ wages within you and around you whether you claim the role of tyrant, victim or some other.

My message to you is one of hope, faith and determination. EVERYTHING counts…

The next time you pick up a cigarette and poison your body, know that someone has made you a slave.

The next time you call another person an *ss, even in your heart or mind, know that you are claiming your place among the walking wounded.

The next time your temper flares or your heart despairs, or you choose chocolate cake over apples and pears (God help us all ha, ha)…

..know that a war is being waged for your attention freedom and that particular battle has gone to the enemy.

Let your children dance in the aisles and teach them how to respectfully live in their POWER.

I’m no saint, I’m right here in the middle of it with you.

My mind has craved chocolate all day today. But I want attention freedom and to live a finer life.

NO ONE IS GOING TO BRING IT TO YOU…You MUST GO AND GET IT!

So as soon as I sign off here, I’m going to instead make a tunafish sandwich.

LIFE BEYOND DUALITY Flying to Africa, my heart was filled with love and possibility. The ride back home, though, was long and empty. Why me? What did I do wrong? What was the purpose? These questions cycled in my mind as I sat on a plane in a life of “doing time”.

Fortunately, beyond the exchanges of victim and tyrant exists a reality that far exceeds even the best of moments in a world of duality. Life’s riches multiply when we slip into higher perspectives. Because of my sincere willingness to change and grow, the very next morning I experienced ‘the grace of life.’

At 5am, sitting at the computer to do some work, I suddenly slipped into a higher state of being.

I could not have orchestrated such a change with my mind alone: it was a subtle and profound shift that had happened inside me.

In that moment, I let go of the wounds that were binding me. You see, as real as they were…they were not there. They never had been.

Finding myself in this “healthy place”, I decided, “let’s keep going!” And so I then released my past partners and wished them well.

I even went and got on the phone with my ex-fiance who I’d boycotted for many months! The healing power that lies beyond this world of duality had made itself known.

So…I let them all go. Truth is, I never found or lost them anyway. A war is waging for your attention freedom.

Acknowledge it.

Advance against the enemy…

Then let it all disappear so only the real remains.

I have a quick message for you that is going to help you go from hoping you were more successful to BEING more successful.

So here it is:

I’ve no doubt that, along the way, you’ve ‘dropped the ball’ so to speak. Probably many times.

I know I have. In fact it happened today. I had an important meeting to be at and, because of a difficult night (won’t waste your time with the drama details), I missed the beginning part of the meeting.

Was I NOT happy about that!!!

Here’s the thing though: we are ALL going to ‘drop the ball’ numerous times along the way to reaching our goals in life…

…along the way to realizing the potential of who we really are.

It’s going to happen! The sooner you recognize and accept that, the sooner you will start seeing greater results in all that you do.

PICK UP RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF

But recognition isn’t what creates the greater results. It’s committing to picking UP the ball that you dropped and continue running with it.

Dropped it again? Pick it up again and ‘keep on keeping on!’

Some people are afraid to even CARRY the ball toward a better lifestyle for fear of looking bad or how others will think of them.

Successful people don’t dwell in that place. So if you go there and hang out, I’m sure you’ll be hanging out with the wrong people.

So that’s the message I have for you: don’t worry about dropping the ball on your way to success. Just make sure you pick it back up and I’m certain you will find the results you’re looking for.

Write that down on a sheet of paper. It’s important to your success.

If you’re not guarding your time and you want to be more successful, then you have work to do.

Ask anyone if they are committed to their own success and most will tell you, “Absolutely!”

However, a closer look at their choices and actions says otherwise.

That’s because commitment to your own success is going to require “doing what it takes” and require “personal change”.

Yes, I said the “c” word…”Change.”

Everyone wants to change the outcome but how can you change the outcome unless you first change the viewpoints, thought processes and decisions you adopt?

That’s just how things work here.

Certain fundamentals never change (treat others as you’d like to be treated, you don’t get something for nothing, your freedom ends where another’s begins).

UPGRADING HOW YOU RELATE

But ‘How you relate with yourself and with the world”? That needs constant upgrading.

As you probably know, I did something most people would not do: I moved from New York, where I’ve lived almost my entire life, to Atlanta to get close to my friends who are multi-millionaires.

Not to hang out and drink beer – I did it because I want to take my 6-figure income and grow it to 7-figures.

Great. Here’s the thing though. I wasn’t experiencing the growth lately that I’d hoped for.

WAS MY MENTOR BROKEN?

Maybe my mentor was “broken”?

Well, we got on the phone together and hashed out what was happening.

One of the revelations I had was that I was being timid and “uninviting” myself.

Probably something to do with a fear of going from 6-figures to 7-figures.

Great! So now I saw my ‘blind spot’
(recognition).

Next comes ACTION.

I rededicated myself to my own success and re-invited myself to the party.

In fact, I ended up hanging out with my mentor all day yesterday. At one point, we were in a store and I saw he was buying a pair of sneakers.

I said, “you know what? I’m getting these SAME sneakers too!”

It may seem silly but it’s actually profound. Here’s why:

REINVENT YOURSELF

Then CHANGE how you view the world and BECOME more like them!

See what it’s like to walk in THEIR shoes for an hour…a day…a month.

By the way, it’s ok to be a mentor and also have a mentor.

Mentors often have mentors and even mentor each other. They understand “the Success Principles of Life” and they put that understanding into M-O-T-I-O-N.

I pay my mentor A LOT more to help me get to my business to 7-figures than you would pay me to help you to reach 6-figures : )

“White House considers taking ownership stakes in private banks to deal with credit crisis”

They are seeking to “deal with a serious credit crisis that has caused the biggest upheavals on Wall Street in seven decades and continues to roil global markets.”

My question for you is this: how did this credit crisis “sneak up on us” like it did?

Or didn’t it?

Was the world turning a blind eye? Have we been looking the other way while the problems worsened?

And now world governments are looking to bail out and to some extent even “buy out” the institutions that are such a mess.

We’ve all gotten into a jam at one point or another. Whether it be with credit cards or making poor business decisions. It’s part of the growing process.

What disturbs me is that across the board bailouts do not send the right message to the world. The lesson should be: manage your affairs more wisely or watch your company disintegrate. If we take away the lesson, then we are guilty continued reading by clicking here of perpetuating the problem.

Now, I don’t think we should just let tons of jobs go down the tubes without trying to preserve them. But let me ask you this:

When was the last time you didn’t pay your electric bill and the utility company said to you, “no worries, we’ll pay it for you.”

Try…NEVER!

Like a loving parent who pain-heartedly watches as their child learns new lessons and discovers how to take care of himself, so should we less quick to rush in and take their troubles away.

I still want to know where the world governments were while the problems were mounting. Hmmm…busy attacking each other and exploiting world resources perhaps?

So that’s most of my rant for today. But the question still remains:

Where does that leave us now?

Well, I can’t recall so many instances of people around me losing their jobs, having their retirement money depleted and just downright worried about their financial well-being.

EBay cut 10% of its workforce the other day. General Motors is shutting down divisions. Just pick up a paper one of these days and chances are some company is laying off people.

But you’re safe right? I mean you have a secure position and you’re untouchable correct?

Think again.

What happens when the pink slip comes or you get a memo informing you that you’ve actually been working on ‘The Titanic’ all this time?

(I’m still waiting to see how they carve up my bank – Wachovia.)

For the record, I don’t believe using credit is a bad thing. It’s just the abuse of it which has caused this mess.

In fact, I teach my clients to leverage credit in a way that they can create assets by doing so.

I teach people how to have successful businesses from home.

You can’t get fired from home.

In fact, when you become your own boss, you can give yourself pay raises whenever you want!

Now is the time to be preparing yourself to be self-sufficient. Actually, you should have
been doing it for a while already but there’s still time to get it done if you start
putting your attention on it today.
